Join Tacoma Aikikai for a 3-day summer day camp adventure in Aikido. Kids will learn physical awareness through cooperation using aikido martial arts principles in games, partner practice, rolling, and falling. Each day will also include Japanese bento lunch, Japanese language lessons, crafts & culture, outside play in Franklin Park, and LIGHT SABERS. No aikido or martial arts experience is necessary.
Taught by Tacoma Aikikai Chief Instructors, Ea Murphy Sensei and Eric Gillet Sensei, who bring decades of experience (and a wealth fun ideas) from teaching aikido to kids in Europe, Japan, and the US.
Optional morning attendance at our International Summer Seminar on Saturday, August 17th is included.
